Confession of a Wollondilly P Driver

March 24, 2012 

It was mid afternoon and the weather was fine as I was cruising at my normal free-way speed of 95kmh when I approached a slower moving light truck and I decided to overtake by increasing my speed, the time lapse of day dreaming escaped me to notice what speed I was doing

Bright lights on the F5 free-way resembled a space ship

Terror set in as the lights got closer and my car came to a stop

Learner Log Book Mistakes

Wollondilly u turn the wheel for learners providing incorrect information to learners & mismanagement of Log Book entries plus providing voluntary supervision without qualification to increase hours in the log book

It seems to be a field day on the P driver when they have an accident and yet everyone with a voice in condemnation of the young driver will not put their hand up and say they would pass a driving test themselves,

Picton Driving School

A PICTON driving school is offering parents a free upgrade-driving lesson so that their young learner driver is better equipped with the correct Information on safety!

Most of Picton Driving School students pass their provisional licence test first go.

Learner drivers pay $50 in the school car and $45 in their own car

Learner drivers are required to have 120 hours of driving experience before they can sit their driving test with the RTA.

Parents must be aware that they may be taken to the cleaners by shonky driving instructors

It is important to communicate with your son or daughter an inquire about the lesson they have been on


It is very rare but it is happening
where an instructor
will have a student park at the side of the road for an extended time waffling on about anything to kill time

Also note the finishing time and the urgency to make another booking

It gives you freedom, it gives you choice, it gives you opportunity, and it give you pride
Think of it as another chance in your life to enrich those around you and your family
From being a prisoner trapped in time, you now have a new born life to explore

Treat it like something you love and cherish and, do not abuse
 and destroy what you have strived for
Remember! there is nothing cool about being stupid
